Agadir Oufella

Kasbah of Agadir has been given an amazigh name of « Agadir Oufella » by the city’s inhabitants , which means “ Agadir from the top “ as it was built in a height of 236 metres , and bears the inscription in Arabic “الله الوطن الملك – « God , Country , King » as a symbole of the country.
The authentic fortress was constructed in 1540 by Mohamed Ech-Cheikh , Founder of the Saadian Dynasty , in order to protect the city from the foreign threats, and Portuguese attacks.
Located in north of the city, near the port, easily accessible by car .
A beautiful spot , up the ocean with a panoramique view to admire the city of Agadir from all angles , as well as sunrises and sunsets.
